This is not a Blog Post

You know why Notre Dame lost? It's because they were under the impression that the exhibition of football excellence on Saturday night was, in the words of Rocket Ismail, "not a game." I am pretty sure those were his exact words because Mr. Rocket repeated that phrase roughly 3.6 gajillion times in his 4 minute pump-ump speech to the Domer faithful.

This kind of puts a dagger into the heart of the "high academic standards" argument that the Irish like to trot out.

Late Update: Oh, and Rocket isn't just a concerned bystander. He's a voter in the Harris poll, which is 1/3 of the BCS. Watch that video again and say to yourself, "this is a Harris Poll voter."

  1. Actually, Mr. Ismael suffers from a rare condition in which he compulsively repeats everything he says at least 3 times. This is no laughing matter. You will be hearing from his lawyers.
